Brian Hughes

Brian Hughes serves as the President of Eton Advisors, where he brings more than 30 years of leadership experience to the firm’s strategic initiatives and growth. Brian focuses on developing forward-looking thought leadership for ultra-high-net-worth families, grounded in a “seek first to understand” approach to every relationship. He works closely with the Eton team to bring best practices and resources in a variety of areas that challenge client families beyond their portfolios, with a particular emphasis on preparing the next generation to be thoughtful stewards of their wealth. Brian ensures that Eton continues to bring a single family office experience to every client by sourcing best in class solutions through his vast network of professional relationships.

Brian is deeply involved in the broader wealth management community and contributes to the industry through several leadership and educational roles. He is a member of the Advisory Board and Faculty of the Ultra High Net Worth Institute and served as the Managing Director of the Southeastern Family Office Forum. Additionally, Brian is an Ambassador to R360 and serves as an Executive Ambassador for the REAL Men’s Mental Health Foundation, reflecting his commitment to supporting health and well-being both within and outside of his profession.

Outside of his work at Eton, Brian is an enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, and reading. He values global travel as a way to explore new cultures, particularly when sharing those experiences with his daughter.
